Evaluation and ranking of rural settlements based on the stages of texture deterioration is critical for rural renovation. However, far too little attention has been paid to topic in the literature. This study focuses on the evaluation and ranking of rural settlements based on the stages of texture deterioration. To do so, we use the Overall Weighing (OW) method (a combination of objective weighing methods including Entropy, CRITIC, IDOCRIW, and subjective weighing method including Rank Sum) and the combinative distance-based assessment (CODAS) method as powerful methods in Multi-criteria decision making. The research method is descriptive-applied where data is collected both library and field. The objective data were collected from 260 rur
ConclusionAlthough the suburban rural areas are heavily influenced by the growth and expansion of cities and their relationships with their development path, this impact is more pronounced in terms of population growth and physical expansion of rural settlements around the cities, and less as a sign of economic and socioeconomic development. Within the framework of sustainable development, they have their own village. In this study, we tried to evaluate the suburban villages of Tehran metropolis based on the smart growth model principles. To this end, based on existing research literature on the evaluation and analysis of smart growth components with special emphasis on rural areas, 74 items in the form of 10 principles including hybrid lan
Introduction: Many approaches and strategies have been taken into consideration in order to overcome the development bottlenecks and challenges for employment development in rural areas. Tourism development is one of the programs in the field of tourism resettlement. Creating resorts is a practical way to achieve sustainable tourism development and the key to creating of a fun and meaningful ecotourism experience that in many parts of the world offers unique opportunities for rural development. This section deals with the history, culture and rituals of a country. that This form not only promotes employment, local economy development and sustainable tourism formation in the domestic dimension, but also in the external dimension, such as tra
Health analysis of environmental quality requires being available indicators that can form with the reality and it can provide possibility of the full recognition about attributes of the studied components of environmental quality health, it tends to present a new methodological framework by using the expert’s surveys. About this, the number of 153 indicators including: 21 ecological indicators, 21 economic indicators, 50 social indicators and 61 physical indicators per assessing and evaluating the health sustainability. After identifying the components and indexes related to assess the environmental quality health in the rural areas to determine if the identified components and indexes are able to measure the health of environmental qual

The deterioration of rural textures is process-oriented, and even when the area is still in the stage of deterioration, the renewal of deteriorated areas must be done before the region reaches a very bad stage, which is completely unused. In this regard, identification and evaluation of texture deterioration cycle is one of the most important parts in the process of rural renewal activities. Hence, based on the four stages of the deterioration cycle (including the formation of primary grounds, the emergence of signs of deterioration, the improper living environment and reduction of texture efficiency, and the completion of deterioration), this study sought to identify the cycle of texture deterioration in rural area of Tehran province in Ir
1. Networks are studied and analyzed in two structural and functional aspects. Within this framework, the structural characteristics of networks are the result of their physical representation and independence of their use. Hence, the structural analysis of the road network enables us to generate semantic information (with regard to village dynamics) and enrich useful spatial data. The topology or geometrical characteristics of the network can be analyzed through some algorithms of graph theory. This paper was conducted with the aim of analyzing the structural pattern of rural road access network based on apple crop and export relationships in Maragheh. Research data were collected from 43 sample villages and 12 cold storage of agricultural cr
1-Objectives The necessity and importance of rural jobs in the current economy has changed the attitude towards using new strategies in the development of jobs in these areas. Extended AbstractIntroductionToday, the use of clean and renewable energy in rural areas to provide sustainable energy is a prerequisite for sustainable development. The endless of fossil fuels and their constraints in providing energy and environmental damage caused by the use of fossil fuels, necessitates the use and development of renewable energy applications, in particular solar energy utilization as a The source of sustainable energy and free of environmental pollution. The necessity of using these resources due to the depletion of conventional energy resources and the limitation of fossil resources, the negative environmental impacts of the use of hydrocarbon resources, rising prices of fossil fuels, political conflicts and its impac
Purpose- The implementation of participatory projects aiming socio-economic empowerment and environmental sustainability is one of the sustainable management strategies in arid rural areas across the world in the recent decades. This study was conducted to answer two questions: What have been the characteristics and achievements of participatory development and community-based projects in rural areas located within the critical centers of Sistan, Jazmourian, and Rigan? How is a process model for rural development planning consistent with the geography of aforementioned areas? Design/methodology/approach- The present study is descriptive-analytical and the research process includes the analysis of the goals and final achievements of particip
The curriculum of natural sciences, particularly physics, is among the most prominent sciences in the progress and prosperity of countries, and this leads us to argue that Physics is the real factor responsible for the progress in other natural sciences and their technological applications. Natural sciences curriculum has gone through many reform movements to keep pace with scientific and technological development, and" STEM" approach is considered one of the most important global movements and approaches in designing curriculum. Enriching the content of physics curriculum in light of" STEM" approach with activities aimed at developing science fiction among learners is one of the most important goals of scientific and technological progress
